Alleged Xiaomi Civi 4, Redmi Note 13 Turbo could be equipped with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3
In March, Qualcomm is likely to unveil two new chipsets that have SM7675 and SM8635 model numbers. These chipsets are tentatively called the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. As per reports, the OnePlus Ace 3V could be the first phone to feature the SD7+G3. On the other hand, the SD8sG3 is likely to power multiple devices, such as the Xiaomi Civi 4, the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, the Vivo Pad 3, and the iQOO Z9 Pro. In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked the alleged specs of the Xiaomi Civi 4.
The latest leak by DCS suggests that Xiaomi is working on two smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. One of them has a flat display, while the other one is equipped with a curved-edge display. Both phones are said to support a 1.5K resolution.
Both models are equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera and there is a possibility that they may carry Leica branding. Both seem to pack a 5,000mAh or bigger battery and support 100W charging. The devices are said to have a glass back and a metal frame.
The first glance at the leak may suggest that the Civi 4 may have flat and curved-edge display variants. However, in the comments section of the post, the tipster hinted that the Redmi Note 13 Turbo will not be the first phone to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. This suggests that the flat-screen variant could be the Note 13 Turbo. Both smartphones are expected to launch in the ongoing quarter in China.
