Find X7 Ultra, X7 Pro to feature dual periscope telephoto cameras
Recent reports have revealed that the Find X7 series of smartphones will include a third model dubbed the Find X7 Ultra. It was not clear how the Ultra variant would differ from the Find X7 Pro. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed what to expect from the Ultra variant.
According to the leaker, the standard Find X7 that will come equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chip will have a periscope telephoto camera that supports up to 3x optical zoom. It appears that the Find X7 Pro and X7 Ultra may arrive with an identical camera setup.
As per the leak, the Find X7 Pro and Find X7 Ultra will have two periscope telephoto cameras, with one supporting 3x optical and the other offering up to 6x optical zoom. Reports have revealed that these will feature the Sony IMX890 and IMX858 camera sensors, respectively. While the tipster did not mention anything else, it appears that the quad-camera system of both phones will have a one-inch, 50-megapixel LYT-900 primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
While the Find X7 will have a MediaTek chip, the Find X7 Pro and Ultra models will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The tipster added that the Ultra will also support two-way satellite communication, a feature that is likely to be unavailable on the Pro variant.
The Find X6 series was announced in China in March of this year. Unfortunately, it was not released in the global market. Hence, it is unclear whether the Find X7 lineup will be released in markets outside of China.
