When POCO X5 Pro was launched in India, everyone was kind of like wanted to get a hold of this smartphone. However, when the news came that only the PRO version is going to come to India, fans were kind of like disappointed with the news. But now, as per POCO India head Himanshu Tandon who took to Twitter to inform the users that POCO X5 is soon going to make it to the Indian market. However, there is no timeline or launch date shared by him, but we can expect the leak sphere to start again soon for the POCO X5.

POCO X5 5G is currently available in the US market also with a price tag of $250 for the 6GB/128GB variant and $320.99 for the 8GB/256GB variant. This smartphone was recently launched in the month of February.
Now let’s talk about the features of this smartphone that didn’t make it to the Indian Market
The phone is available in three color variants – Green, Blue, and Black. The POCO X5 is a budget phone with some impressive features that make it an excellent choice for those who don’t want to spend a lot of money on a smartphone.
Design and Display
The POCO X5 has a sleek design with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate and can get as bright as 700 nits (HBM) and 1200 nits (peak). The phone also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, which makes it resistant to scratches and minor drops. The POCO X5 is also IP53 rated, which means it is dust and splash resistant.
Performance
The POCO X5 is powered by the Qualcomm SM6375 Snapdragon 695 5G (6 nm) chipset, which is paired with an octa-core CPU consisting of 2×2.2 GHz Kryo 660 Gold & 6×1.7 GHz Kryo 660 Silver cores. The phone also has an Adreno 619 GPU, which is capable of handling most games and apps. The POCO X5 comes in two memory variants – 128GB 6GB RAM and 256GB 8GB RAM, and uses UFS 2.2 for fast data transfer speeds.
Camera
The POCO X5 has a triple camera setup at the back, which includes a 48 MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2 MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup is capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30fps and has features like Dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, and panorama. The phone also has a 13 MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture and HDR support.
Battery and Connectivity
The POCO X5 comes with a 5000mAh non-removable battery, which supports 33W wired charging. The phone also has a hybrid dual-SIM slot, which can be used for expanding the storage with a microSD card. The phone has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and an infrared port. The POCO X5 also has a USB Type-C 2.0 port, which supports OTG.
