Honor Magic 6, Magic 6 Pro color variants revealed before launch
Honor will announce the Honor Magic 6 series of smartphones on January 10 and 11 in China. The two-day event will see the arrival of the Magic OS 8.0 and the Magic 6 series. Ahead of the launch, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared the following images to reveal the design of the Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro.
As can be seen in the renders, the Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro will come in the same colors, such as black, white, green, purple, and cyan. Both phones have a round camera module on the back, which houses three cameras arranged in a triangular shape.
While the Magic 6 will offer up to 50x digital zoom, the Pro variant will offer up to 100x zoom. Both phones have a periscope telephoto camera. As per other reports, both smartphones are expected to feature a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H main camera and a 50-megapixel OV50M ultra-wide lens.
On the front, the Magic 6 and 6 Pro have a quad-curved OLED panel. While the standard model has a single punch-hole, the Pro variant has a pill-shaped cutout, indicating that it will be equipped with a dual selfie camera setup.
Both phones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The pre-order listings of the phone available on Honor Mall in China have confirmed that both devices will be available in storage options such as 256 GB and 512 GB. The Pro variant will also be offered as a 1 TB option.
