Honor Magic 6 Pro spotted on NBTC certification website; could soon launch globally
In the month of January, Honor unveiled its latest Honor Magic 6 series in its home country China. The series included two smartphones- Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro. This latest series broke the previous generation’s first-day sales record in less than 3 minutes in China. The brand also recently announced that it will be unveiling Honor Magic 6 series and Magic V2 series in the global market on 25th February at MWC 2024.
Ahead of the official launch of this series, Honor Magic 6 Pro has been spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification website with model number BVL-N49.
The database does not reveal much about the device but recently Honor Global revealed that Honor Magic 6 series will be equipped with 2nd generation silicon batteries. The device has already been spotted on TDRA and IMDA certification websites.
Let’s take a look at the specifications of the Honor Magic 6 Pro that launched in China last month.
Honor Magic 6 Pro: Specifications (Chinese variant)
The Honor Magic 6 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, with the Android 14 based MagicOS 8.0 out of the box. It is offered in three storage configurations 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB.
For the display, the smartphone has an LTPO OLED display panel, with a 6.8″ screen size, 1280 x 2800 pixels resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate. Just like the vanilla model, the display is also protected with a Jurhino glass. Coming to the cameras, at the rear, the smartphone sports a 50MP(main) + 180MP(periscope telephoto) + 50MP(ultrawide) triple camera unit, along with a front-facing camera of 50MP.
Regarding the battery, the device packs a larger 5600 mAh battery, with an 80W wired fast charging feature, a 66W wireless fast charging feature, a reverse wireless charging feature, and a 5W reverse wired charging feature.
