Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design spotted on IMDA certification website; could debut in global market soon
The Chinese smartphone brand Honor unveiled its latest Honor Magic 6 series in its home country China at the beginning of this month. Along with this flagship series, the company also unveiled a special edition foldable device- Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design in the country. This special edition foldable device arrived with an elegant and super cool design along with some amazing features.
Well earlier there was no word spoken on the debut of Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design outside China but today our team at The Tech Outlook spotted this device on the IMDA certification website with model number VER-N49DP.
The listing of the device indicates that Honor might launch this foldable device in the global markets too. However, we do need to wait for the official confirmation. Due to the debut of this device in the Chinese market, its specifications are already known to us.
Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design: Specifications (Chinese variant)
The Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design smartphone from Honor is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and comes with the Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2 custom skin pre-installed it. Only one storage option is available for the device with a RAM of 16GB and internal storage of 1 TB.
An inner foldable 7.92″ LTPO OLED display with a 2156 x 2344 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, and a 6.43″ LTPO OLED cover display with a 1060 x 2376 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate are present on the device as well.
Regarding the cameras, the device sports a 50MP primary camera, along with an additional 20MP telephoto and 50MP ultrawide lenses at the rear. At the front, a 16MP selfie camera is also there. It is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 66W wired and 5W reverse wired charging.
