Honor Magic Vs 2 launch date confirmed, Honor Watch 4 Pro to debut alongside

There have been reports that Honor is working on a successor for the Honor Magic Vs, which was announced in November 2022. Today, the brand released an official confirmation that it will unveil the Honor Magic Vs 2 at 7pm (local time) on Oct. 12 in China. Apart from the foldable phone, the Chinese manufacturer will also announce the Honor Watch 4 Pro smartwatch.

Honor recently unveiled the Honor V Purse foldable phone with an outwardly foldable design. As can be seen in the official image, the Magic Vs 2 has an inwardly foldable design. The blue-coloured device has a side-facing fingerprint scanner and a 50-megapixel triple camera unit on the back.

The Watch 4 Pro has a round dial with a crown and a physical button on the right edge. The device is also equipped with a green-coloured strap. Unfortunately, there is no information available about the specifications of the Watch 4 Pro.

Coming back to the Magic Vs 2, which is said to have the VER-AN00 model number, it has already appeared in the database of China’s 3C certification site and the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The 3C listing revealed that the device may arrive with support for 66W fast charging.

On the other hand, the Magic Vs 2’s Geekbench listing has revealed that it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, 16 GB of RAM, and Android 13. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the device scored 1648 and 4201 points, respectively. Other reports have claimed that the device will have a premium build made from a rare earth material, magnesium alloy.
