Honor Revealed to First Use the BOE Double Layer OLED Display: Might be Featured on Magic 6 Ultimate

The Chinese smartphone maker, Honor, is set unveil two new smartphone devices at the upcoming launch event scheduled on the 18th of March 2024, and the brand is revealed to make use of BOE’s Double Layer OLED display on one of these smartphones.

BOE’s Double Layer OLED Display to be First Used by Honor

The industry’s first double layer OLED display screen by BOE is now revealed to be first used by Honor, and it has been tipped that the Magic 6 Ultimate Edition smartphone will possibly feature it. This display will offer an improved efficiency of 40% and will increase the screen life by about 6 times as per what has been shared. The below given poster image also mentions about the launch event that will be conducted on March 18th at 7:30 PM local time in Beijing. Just to add, apart from the Magic 6 Ultimate, the Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design smartphone will also be debuted.

About the Magic 6 Ultimate model, this device is also suggested to be the first smartphone that could be sporting the OmniVision OV50K one-inch main camera. The triple camera module is also revealed to be square-like in shape, and the brand shared that the smartphone will have an upgraded SLR-Level Super Dynamic Eagle-Eye camera. Its camera system will also be incorporating the world’s first car-level LOFIC technology and the main camera dynamic range is 15EV, whereas the aperture range is f/1.4 to f/2.0. 100x zoom capability is also a notable spec. Some of these camera features will also be there on the Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design smartphone too.

The pre-reservation for the Magic 6 Ultimate is currently live in the China region and the smartphone will be offered in Sky Purple and Ink Rock Black colors. The MagicBook Pro 16 laptop will also be released along with the Magic 6 Ultimate and Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design smartphones this month.
