Honor V Purse launch date for China confirmed, tipped to feature Snapdragon 778G
Honor has officially announced today it will host a launch event to unveil the Honor V Purse in Shanghai, China at 7:30pm (local time) on Sept. 19. To recall, Honor recently showcased the Honor V Purse concept phone at the IFA 2023 tech exhibition. At that time, it was thought the concept phone would not be available for purchase. However, it now appears that at least the Chinese market will receive the device.
The Honor V Purse is notably targeted at the female market, boasting a slim and lightweight design with a thickness of less than 9mm. It comes with interchangeable straps and a wide range of Always-On Display (AOD) designs. This flexibility allows users to coordinate the Honor V Purse with any outfit they choose, and since it’s an outward foldable device, these customizable features are visible on both sides for added fashion adaptability.
In terms of its overall design, the Honor V Purse bears some resemblance to the previous Huawei Mate Xs 2, which is also an outwardly foldable device. Honor has not revealed the technical specifications of the device.
According to a Chinese tipster, the Honor V Purse is equipped with a Magic OS, a dual-camera setup, and supports 35W fast charging. In addition, it features the Snapdragon 778G chipset. It seems that the brand will provide additional information about the device in the coming days leading up to the official launch.
