Honor X50 tipped to launch in July; Magic V2, Tablet X8 Pro in August
Honor has a couple of new products lined up for the Chinese market. Recent reports have revealed that the brand is working on an X-series phone, a foldable phone, and a tablet. A Chinese tipster has revealed the launch timeframe of all these products.
Recently an Honor phone with model number ALI-AN00 was spotted at a couple of Chinese certification platforms. This device is expected to arrive in the Chinese market with the Honor X50 moniker. According to a tipster, the Honor X50 is scheduled to debut in early July.
Last week, the same tipster revealed that Honor’s next tablet will be called the Honor Pad V8 Pro. It appears that the device will be positioned higher than the Dimensity 8020-powred Honor Pad V8 that was announced in April this year.
As can be seen in the above screenshot, the Pad V8 Pro will be unveiled alongside the Honor Magic V2 foldable phone, which is expected to launch in August. At present, there is no information available on the specifications of the Pad V8 Pro. As far as the Magic V2 is concerned, it is likely to arrive in Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 variants.
Coming back to the Honor X50, its TENAA listing has revealed that it will arrive with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip will power the device with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It will have a 5,700mAh battery with 35W charging and run on MagicOS 7.1-based Android 13. For photography, it will have an 8-megapixel front camera and a 108-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system on the back.
