Huawei Mate X5 foldable smartphone launched officially in Chinese; Check the specifications and features
The Chinese smartphone company Huawei has recently launched two of its flagship devices- Huawei Mate 60 and Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ in its home country. Both smartphones arrive with an elegant design and amazing specifications. Just after few days before the official launch of these devices, the brand has now launched its foldable smartphone in China.
Huawei Mate X5 has been officially launched in China today, This smartphone is the successor to the Mate X3 foldable device.
Huawei Mate X5: Specifications
The smartphone features a 7.85-inch OLED main display with 2496×2224 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate,1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and P3 wide color gamut. It sports a 6.4-inch LTPO OLED cover display with 2504×1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate,300Hz touch sampling rate, and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The device comes with Kunlun Glass protection.
The foldable smartphone offers up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB internal storage. It runs on HarmonyOS 4.0. It is backed by a 5060mAh battery that supports 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
If we talk about the camera specs, the Huawei Mate X5 features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera, 13MP ultra wide-angle camera, and 12MP periscope telephoto camera. On the front, it consists of an 8MP selfie camera.
This newly launched smartphone will be made available in five color variants- Feather white, Feather Black, Feather Gold, Phantom Purple, and Green Mountain Dai. The processor and pricing details of Huawei Mate X5 have not been disclosed yet by the company but we might know the details soon. However, the interested consumer can pre-book the device for CNY 1,000.
