Huawei’s Pocket S2 Flip-Phone and Nova 12 Series Smartphones Launch Timeframe Tipped

The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Huawei, will soon be launching its Pocket S2 flip-phone and the Nova 12 series smartphones, and as per what has now been tipped, the upcoming devices are said to debut next month in China.

Here’s more about it.

Pocket S2 and Nova 12 Series Smartphones – Debuting Next Month

The upcoming Huawei Pocket S2 (codenamed “LEM”) will be debuting as the brand’s third flip form factor device, following the 2021 P50 Pocket and the 2022 Pocket S smartphones. Regarding its design, from the leaked render image that has been shared online, the upcoming smartphone will feature a similar design language when compared to its predecessors.

Speaking more, the rear panel will have two circular modules, placed towards the left side, among which the first one would house the three cameras and the LED flash, whereas the bottom module will be the display screen. The camera arrangement looks similar to Honor’s Magic 6 series, and the cover display will show notifications and other basic information. Also to add, the power button(cum fingerprint scanner) and the volume rocker are on the right-side panel.

Coming to the Nova 12 series, the series will comprise two smartphones – the Nova 12 and the Nova 12 Pro devices. The vanilla Nova 12 smartphone is expected to be powered by the upcoming Kirin 830 chipset. The Nova 12 Pro device on the other hand may likely be equipped with the brand’s Kirin 9000s chipset.

Regarding the launch timeframe, it has been tipped that the Pocket S2 flip phone, as well as the Nova 12 and Nova 12 Pro smartphones, are to be unveiled in China next month, in December 2023, as previously said, probably in the second week.
