Huawei, one of the leading Chinese smartphone makers, is reportedly working on its next Mate 70 series devices and now, the tentative launch time frame of the upcoming series has been revealed via Weibo.

Huawei Mate 70 Series – Launch Time Frame
The Chinese tipster who goes by the name “Smart Pikachu” has shared this update. In the Weibo post shared, it has been stated that the Mate 70 series from Huawei has been tentatively scheduled to have its debut in the month of September 2024, this year.
The previous Mate 60 series of Huawei comprises of four devices – Mate 60, Mate 60 Pro, Mate 60 Pro+, and Mate 60 RS Ultimate models. Of the four, the Mate 60 Pro+ and Mate 60 RS Ultimate smartphones were unveiled in the month of September 2023, whereas the former two were released a month earlier in August 2023.
The tipster has also noted that the upcoming Mate 70 series will be stronger than Apple’s next iPhone 16 series devices, and considering this tentative launch time frame, Huawei might be planning a tight competition with Apple and its next smartphones
Also to add, it has been pointed out that there is a new one-inch machine, likely suggesting a smartphone with a 1-inch camera sensor, and the brand is said to be working on large and small screen display solutions. This might possibly be an upcoming P-series or Mate-series device.
Speaking more about the Mate 70 series, the series as per other reports is expected to feature a quad-curved 2K display screen, 5.5G technology, and brand-new Kirin processors.
