Huawei’s Upcoming Pocket S2 and Nova 12 Series Devices Back Cases Revealed: Launching Soon

Huawei has started releasing more 5G smartphones and followed by the recently unveiled Mate series devices, the brand is preparing itself for the launch of its Pocket S2 foldable and Nova 12 series smartphones. The upcoming devices are expected to debut in China this month and the back cases for the soon-releasing smartphones have been revealed.

Here’s more about it.

Huawei Pocket S2 and Nova 12 Series – Back Cases

The tipster on the Weibo platform, Digital Chat Station, has shared the images of the back cases for the upcoming Pocket S2 vertical foldable or flip phone and also for the Nova 12 series comprising of the Nova 12, Nova 12 Pro, and Nova 12 Ultra smartphones. There is nothing in particular to say about the backcases, they are transparent, but we do get an idea about the upcoming devices’ design language.

Previously, we came across the render images of the Pocket S2 and Nova 12 Pro smartphones. The render image of the Pocket S2 does align with the back case image, however, the Nova 12 Pro render doesn’t. Notably, the previous Nova 11, Nova 11 Pro, and Nova 11 Ultra devices had the same rear camera modules. Both these devices were said to have their launch this month in December 2023, and the tipster’s post reiterates it.

Also to add, the Nova 12 Ultra has also been tipped to support a 100W fast charge feature, and all the upcoming smartphones are to be powered by Kirin chipsets. The Nova 12 was suggested to have the Kirin 830 processor, whereas the Kirin 9000s chip might power the Nova 12 Pro device. It is also mentioned that the mid-range 5G smartphones from the brand won’t be arriving entirely, until next year.
