India’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 powered smartphone iQOO 12 5G launched in India at starting price of Rs Rs 52,999

India’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 powered smartphone iQOO 12 5G has finally been launched in India. It comes with a number of interesting specs and that too at an impressive price. Let’s get to know about it in detail.

Specifications

iQOO 12 5G smartphone features a 6.78-inch wide LTPO AMOLED 1.5K display with 144Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with iQOO’s own Q1 supercomputing chip and Adreno 750 GPU. It packs up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage.

The iQOO 12 5G smartphone runs Android 14 based FunTouchOS 14. It is promised to receive 3 years of Android upgrades and 5 years of security patches. It is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 120W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging.

In the camera section, the smartphone features a 50MP primary shooter with OIS support, a 50MP ultra wide-angle camera lens, and a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, it boasts a 16 MP front camera.

Price and availability

The iQOO 12 5G is priced at Rs 52,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant, while its 16GB + 512GB variant is priced at Rs 57999. As a launch offer buyers will get a flat Rs 3,000 instant discount on HDFC and ICICI Debit and Credit Cards which eventually brings down the price to Rs 49,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant and 54,999 for the 16GB+512GB variant.

And if you trade your old phone you get a Rs 3,000 exchange bonus and if it’s an iQOO/Vivo device you will get a Rs 5,000 exchange bonus. As far as its availability is concerned it will be available for priority pass users from 13th Dec, noon on Amazon. For all users, it will be available on Amazon starting from 14th Dec, 12 noon. The device comes in two color options Alpha and Legend. It’s black-colored Alpha variant comes with AG Glass at the back, white Legend version comes with Porcelain Enamel Glass.
