Infinix Note 40 Pro NBTC certified, January launch expected
Infinix unveiled the Infinix Smart 8 series and the Hot 40 series in different markets in December. It appears that the brand may soon shift its focus to the Note 40 lineup, starting in the coming year. This is because the Note 40 Pro has been approved by the NBTC authority in Thailand.
To recall, the Infinix Note 40 Pro bearing the model number X6850 was approved by the Bluetooth SIG authority in November. It revealed that the device has support for Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
The same device has now bagged certification from Thailand’s NBTC platform, indicating that its launch is imminent. Unfortunately, the NBTC listing does not reveal anything significant about the device.
To recall, the Note 30 series was mainly focused on offering fast charging capabilities like up to 68W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Hence, it is likely that the Note 40 lineup may offer an improved charging experience. Here is a look at the key specifications of the Note 30 Pro, which was announced in May 2023.
Infinix Note 30 Pro specifications
The Infinix Note 30 Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Helio G99-powered device ships with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. It has a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 108-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) triple camera unit. The device runs on XOS 13-based Android 13 and comes equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The Note 30 lineup featured multiple models. Hence, it is likely that the Note 40 series may include the Note 40, Note 40i, Note 40 Pro, Note 40 VIP, and Note 40 5G.
