Infinix Smart 8 launched in Nigeria with Unisoc T606 chipset and 90 HZ display
Infinix launched a new budget smartphone named Infinix Smart 8 in the Nigerian market. This smartphone is identical to Tecno Pop 8 which is not a surprising element as both Infinix and Tecno come under Transsion Holdings. This smartphone was recently spotted on Google Play Console.
Let’s get to know about its price and specs in detail.
The Smart 8 comes with a 6.6-inch wide display with HD+ resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, and 550 nits of peak brightness. It has a centre-aligned punch-hole camera cutout that brands call Magic Ring. This Magic Ring expands into a pill-sized cutout and offers updates and status as Apple’s Dynamic Island.
The camera section includes a dual camera setup featuring a 13 MP sensor paired with a VGA depth lens and an LED flash unit. The front side of the handset boasts an 8 MP selfie camera. The handset is powered by a Unisoc T606 chipset and packs 4GB RAM with 4 GB virtual RAM. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging via a USB C port. It runs XOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.
The Infinix Smart 8 comes in Timber Black, Galaxy White, Crystal Green, and Shiny Gold colors. It has been priced at NGN 82,000 ($105) in Nigeria and is available for purchase.
