iQOO 12, 12 Pro launch date officially confirmed
iQOO has officially confirmed that it will unveil the iQOO 12 series of performance-driven smartphones on Nov. 7 in China. The lineup will comprise two models, the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro. Both smartphones will come equipped with the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Tomorrow, Xiaomi will unveil the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro as the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered smartphones in China. The iQOO 12 series will be the second to feature the new chip from Qualcomm. According to a report by GSMArena, the iQOO 12 will be equipped with a dedicated display processor with hardware-accelerated ray tracing for an enhanced gaming experience.
The report also states that the iQOO 12 can offer 144 frames per second experience with frame interpolation on a wide range of games, such as PUBG Mobile, PUBG New State, Genshin Impact, and LoL Mobile. To say again, the iQOO 12 will go beyond the standard frame rate limits set by game developers to provide players with a genuinely high frame rate gaming experience.
Furthermore, the iQOO has once again teamed up with BMW M Motorsport for the iQOO 12 series. Hence, there will be a white Legend Edition variant featuring the tricolor BMW M stripes and customised themes. Reports have revealed that the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will also be available in black and red variants. The red model will have a leather back, whereas the other two color options will be equipped with a glass back.
As per a previous leak, the iQOO 12 will launch in India in November. However, the iQOO 12 Pro variant may remain exclusive to the home market. Apart from India, the iQOO 12 is also expected to be released in some other countries later this year.\
