As per the certification, the iQOO 12 will have a 2,440mAh dual-cell battery with a combined typical capacity of 5,000mAh. The device is said to arrive with 120W fast charging.
The iQOO 10 and 11 Pro smartphones that have launched in the past have offered 200W fast charging. However, the new development reveals that the device will lack support for 200W fast charging. Instead, it will offer 120W wired charging and retain 50W wireless charging.
The iQOO 12 Pro will house a 2,490mAh dual-cell battery, which indicates it will offer a combined capacity of 5,100mAh. The tipster claimed that there would not be many differences between the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro.
As per reports, the iQOO 12 will have a flat 1.5K resolution E7 AMOLED screen with an optical in-screen fingerprint scanner, whereas the Pro model will offer a 2K resolution curved-edge E7 AMOLED display integrated with an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered series will have LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, but they are likely to arrive in different memory configurations.
Both phones are said to feature a 50-megapixel (OV50H) + 50-megapixel (Samsung JN1, ultra-wide) + 64-megapixel (OV64B). The third camera on the vanilla model could be a telephoto camera, whereas the Pro model may feature a periscope zoom sensor. Furthermore, both the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will sport a metallic middle frame with slightly differing IP ratings; the standard model will have an IP64 rating, while the Pro model will offer an IP68 rating.
