iQOO 12 series spotted on 3C certification website, charging details revealed
The upcoming iQOO 12 series is all set to make it’s official debut in the Chinese market on November 7. Recently the key details of the series were officially revealed by the brand whereas the official images were also released giving the users a closer look at the design aspects of upcoming iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro smartphones.
Ahead of the official launch of this series, the iQOO 12 series has bagged the 3C certification. iQOO 12 was spotted with model number V2307A while iQOO 12 Pro was spotted with model number V2329A on the website.
The listing on the database revealed that both the smartphones will be arriving with 120W charger while the Pro model is also revealed to offer 50W wireless charging. Previously the alleged spec sheet of iQOO 12 Pro also leaked online which revealed that the upcoming smartphone will be backed by 5100mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging.

iQOO 12 is confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC that has been tipped to be coupled with an LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It is pointed out that the device might also have a 2x large X-axis linear motor too, for haptics. Coming to the displays, it might feature an OLED display panel with a 6.78″ screen size and a 1.5K screen resolution. The device is also tipped to be equipped with an independent display gaming chip and a refresh rate support of up to 144Hz.
About the cameras, the device is said to feature a triple camera unit, and the camera module is expected to house a 50MP OmniVision OV50H main camera, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide camera, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom capability.
The alleged spec sheet of iQOO 12 revealed that the smartphone might feature a 6.78 inch 2K Samsung E7 AMOLED display that offers 2700 nits peak brightness, 1440Hz PWM Dimming, and 144 Hz refresh rate. It is confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and could be equipped with an Adreno 750 GPU. The chipset could be paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It will run on Android 14 OS.
The device might be backed by a 5100mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging. It is supposed to pack up a triple rear camera setup that consists of 50MP OV50H with OIS support, 50MP ultra-wide lens, and 64MP OV64B 3x optical zoom telephoto lens and 100x digital zoom. On the front, it could feature a 16MP selfie camera.
Even before the official launch of this series a lot of information has already been known about the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro smartphones due to previous leaks and official announcements. In the coming days, we might get to know more updates regarding the series.
