iQOO Neo 8 Pro to arrive with 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage
iQOO recently confirmed that it will announce the iQOO Neo 8 series of smartphones on May 23 in China. The lineup will have at least two devices, namely, the iQOO Neo 8 and the iQOO Neo 8 Pro. Today, the company released the below poster to confirm what kind of RAM and storage the Pro model will be equipped with.
As can be seen in the poster, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro will be equipped with 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, like other flagship phones available in the market. In addition, it will have UFS 4.0 storage. To recall, previous reports have claimed that the Neo 8 Pro will be equipped with up to 1 TB of storage.
For those who don’t know, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro will be the first phone to come equipped with the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset. While there is no official confirmation yet from the brand, it is believed that the iQOO Neo 8 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.
The iQOO Neo 7 series, which debuted in the fourth quarter of 2022 in China, also featured the iQOO Neo 7 SE model. At present, it is unclear whether the company has any plans to release the iQOO Neo 8 SE.
In related news, iQOO’s sibling brand Vivo is also working on the Vivo S17 and the Vivo S17 Pro for the Chinese market. Both phones are likely to launch on May 30.
