iQOO Neo 9 December launch confirmed, Neo 9 Pro bags 3C certification

iQOO Neo 9 series has been officially confirmed to launch in December in China. As can be seen, the company’s poster below not only confirms its launch date but also shows off its rear design.

iQOO Neo 9 series December launch

The Neo 9 series’ design, as disclosed by the brand, aligns with the leaked schematic shared by tipster Digital Chat Station earlier this week. The key highlight of the Neo 9 series’ aesthetic is a dual-tone composition, with the left white portion featuring two white cameras and the remaining red-coloured part, housing the third camera and an LED flash. Although the brand hasn’t yet disclosed the Neo 9 series’ front, the leaked schematic by DCS revealed that it will have a flat OLED panel with a punch-hole in the centre.

iQOO has not revealed any other information about the iQOO Neo 9 series. However, reports have revealed that the Neo 9 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, whereas the Pro model will be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 SoC. These devices will replace the iQOO Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro, which were announced earlier this year. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and Dimensity 9200+ chipsets, respectively, power both phones.

Reports have revealed that the Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro have the V2338A and V2339A model numbers, respectively. A new development reveals that the Neo 9 Pro has received approval from the 3C authority in China. The listing reveals that the device will arrive with support for 120W fast charging. It is speculated that both phones pack the same 5,000mAh battery and offer 120W charging. The Neo 9 Pro is expected to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary camera with OIS support. The same camera is also available as the primary snapper on the Vivo X100 smartphone.
