iQOO Pad live shot appears before official announcement
iQOO Pad will debut tomorrow (May 23) as iQOO’s first-ever tablet in China. Ahead of the official announcement, a Chinese tipster has released a live shot of the tablet. In the image, the device can be seen placed alongside the Vivo Pad 2, which was announced in April for the home market.
In the leaked image, the iQOO Pad can be seen with the Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset. Reports have revealed that the tablet will arrive in as many as four variants. However, the variant that has surfaced in the live shot has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It will come preloaded with OriginOS 3 for Pad-based Android 13.
The tablet is seen equipped with what appear to be optional accessories, such as a kickstand cover and a keyboard. The tablet appears to have the same design as the Vivo Pad 2, which is placed on its right.
According to the tipster, both devices will pack the same internals. However, they will differ slightly in the chip department. While the Vivo Pad has the Dimensity 9000 chipset, the iQOO Pad is confirmed to feature the enhanced Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset.
The iQOO Pad will arrive with a 12.1-inch IPS LCD 2.8K 144Hz screen, a Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 10,000mAh battery with 44W charging. It may feature a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup on the back and an 8-megapixel camera on the front.
