itel has finally launched the P55 and P55+ smartphone in India and that too in an affordable range. The itel P55+ smartphone was recently launched in Africa and it was also recently listed on Amazon’s official website thus hinting at its near launch. Now that the smartphones have finally been launched, let’s get to know about their specs, price, and availability.
itel P55 and P55+ specifications
The itel P55 and P55+ smartphones feature 6.6-inch wide HD+, 720×1640 pixels resolution, and 90 Hz refresh rate. It comes with a punch-hole cutout for housing a selfie camera. Similar to iPhones we also get to see the Dynamic Bar feature for quick access to face unlock, background calls, battery notifications, and more.
The itel P55 series is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC. The itel P55+ smartphone packs 16GB RAM including virtual RAM and 256 GB storage. Itel P55 comes in two options 12GB and 24GB(including virtual RAM) with 128GB storage. In the camera department, we get to see AI backed 50 MP dual rear camera setup in both handsets.
For selfies, both smartphones come with an 8 MP selfie camera. Additionally, the P55+ comes with a fingerprint sensor for security. Both of the handsets are backed by 5000 mAh battery and P55 supports 18W fast charging while P55+ supports 45W fast charging.
Price and availability
The itel P55 smartphone has been priced at Rs 7,999 for the 12GB(including virtual RAM) RAM and 128GB storage. The itel P55+ smartphone 16GB RAM(including virtual RAM) and 256GB storage variant has been priced at Rs 9,499. As far as colour options are concerned the itel P55 smartphone is offered in Aurora Blue, Moonlit Black, and Brilliant Gold colour options. Itel P55+ smartphone is offered in Meteor Black and Royal Green colours. Its sale will begin on February 13, 12:00 PM IST on Amazon.
