Leaked Vivo X Fold 3 specifications hint at key differences from Vivo X Fold 3 Pro
Vivo is expected to soon hold a launch event in China that will see the arrival of at least three products, such as the Vivo X100s smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 3 series of foldable phones, and the Vivo Pad 3 tablet. Tipster Digital Chat Station recently leaked the key specifications of the Vivo X Fold 3. Now, the tipster is back with a new leak that tells what sets the standard Vivo X Fold 3 apart from its Pro variant.
The leaker previously revealed that the Vivo X Fold 3 and Fold 3 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Pro. The Pro variant with the latest chip onboard will be a premium offering, whereas the SDG2 variant will have affordable pricing.
Today, the leaker revealed that the Vivo X Fold 3 will not have an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, 50W wireless charging, or an OmniVision OV64B 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, which will be available on the Pro model. Since the X Fold 3 will lack these features, it is expected to have a reasonable price.
As far as the Pro variant is concerned, it will feature a 2K resolution foldable OLED panel with support for a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate. The cover screen as well as the inner display will have an under-display fingerprint scanner. It will support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Its rear camera setup will have a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, an ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
