The Chinese smartphone maker, Meizu, has re-entered the flagship market again with its 20 series devices, and it is already revealed that the brand is in the works to launch the next 21 series flagships – the Meizu 21 and Meizu 21 Pro smartphone devices. A recent update has now pointed out the battery capacities of these two upcoming smartphones.

The update comes from the Chinese tipster on the Weibo platform – Digital Chat Station(received via @ZionsAnvin), and it has been revealed that the upcoming Meizu 21 and Meizu 21 Pro smartphones may likely be backed by 4,700 mAh and 5,020 mAh batteries, respectively. Unfortunately, apart from the particular battery spec, nothing else has been shared.

If we look into other reports, the Meizu 21 smartphone was spotted on the MIIT certification platform last month, and the design and specifications of the device were tipped by Digital Chat Station.
Meizu’s 21 smartphone is said to feature a flat display with narrow bezels a centrally aligned punch-hole selfie camera, and a vertically arranged triple camera unit at the rear, towards the upper left corner. Speaking about its design, it will look more or less similar to the already available Meizu 20 device, and this design language will likely be followed in the Meizu 21 Pro device as well.
The tipster had also added that the vanilla Meizu 21 smartphone might also feature a 50MP primary camera and a telephoto lens. It is however unclear whether the Meizu 21 Pro would come with a normal telephoto lens or with a periscope telephoto lens.
As far as the debut of the Meizu 21 series is concerned, the two upcoming smartphones may have their launch in Q1 2024, next year, and just like other flagships, the Meizu 21 and Meizu 21 Pro devices are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
