Meizu 21 key specifications, design tipped well before launch
Meizu returned to the flagship smartphone market in China with the launch of the Meizu 20 series in March. Rumours are rife that the brand has already started working on the Meizu 21 series. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station shared the primary details of what appears to be the Meizu 21 smartphone.
According to the tipster, the Meizu 21 will have a flat display flanked by very narrow bezels on the front. It will have a centrally positioned punch hole, and on the back, it will have a vertically arranged triple camera unit at the upper-left corner.
The tipster said that the overall design of the Meizu 21 is almost the same as that of the Meizu 20. Like the upcoming flagship phones, the Meizu 21 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. For those who don’t know, Qualcomm is expected to announce the new chip in October this year.
DCS added that the Meizu 21’s rear camera setup will feature a new 50-megapixel primary camera and a telephoto camera. The Meizu 21 Pro is expected to sport the same design as the vanilla model. However, it is unclear whether its rear camera setup will have a regular telephoto camera or a periscope zoom camera.
At present, there is no word on the launch timeframe of the Meizu 21 and Meizu 21 Pro. Hence, it remains to be seen whether the Meizu 21 series debuts by the end of this year alongside Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phones from other brands or in March 2024.
