Meizu 21 Pro Smartphone Launched In China With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset, 120Hz Display
Meizu has finally launched the much awaited smartphone Meizu 21 Pro in its home market China. Its standard version was launched last year in China and now the Pro version will join the clan with some exciting features but with the same design. Its launch date was recently confirmed and before that its near launch was evident from the listing on certification websites. Let’s get to know about the handset in detail.
Specifications of Meizu 21 Pro
The Meizu 21 Pro smartphone comes with a design similar to its predecessor that includes a flat frame, a vertically stacked camera, and an RGB LED flash unit. It comes in an IP68-rated body that makes it dust and water-resistant. The smartphone features a 6.79-inch wide BOE screen with thin bezels and a center-aligned punch-hole cutout. It boasts 2K resolution, 1250 nits of peak brightness, and a 120 Hz LTPO refresh rate. The handset also comes with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The camera department of the handset comprises a 1/1.3 inch 50MP main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens with 122 degrees FoV, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical and 30x digital zoom on the rear. The front side of the smartphone sports a 32MP selfie camera. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
For heat dissipation, it comes with a large VC liquid cooling area. The smartphone is backed by a 5,050 mAh battery that supports 80W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging. The smartphone runs Flyme OS with AI features. Additionally, it also comes with dual stereo speakers, a linear motor, Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi, NFC, etc.
Pricing and Availability
The smartphone has been launched in Night Black, Meizu White Laurel Green (Silicone), and Glacier Blue colors. Its pricing starts from CNY 4,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. And 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB configurations are priced at CNY 5,399 and CNY 5,899.
