Meizu 21 Pro spotted with 80W fast charger at 3C certification, launch imminent
In November 2023, Meizu unveiled the Meizu 21 flagship phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip onboard in China. While rumors were speculating that the Meizu 21 Pro would launch with the standard model, the company did not announce it. Recent reports have claimed that the Pro variant may debut in the first quarter of 2024. In the previous month, two upcoming Meizu devices, identified as M481Q and M481S, received radio certification in China. Both models were spotted in MIIT’s database recently, and they have also been approved by the country’s 3C certification platform.
The 3C certification reveals that both variants of the Meizu 21 Pro may ship with an 80W charger. To recall, the Meizu 21, which packs a 4,800mAh battery, offers 80W wired charging. As per reports, the Pro model will have a 5,020mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
The Meizu 21 is a compact flagship phone featuring a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with support for 1.5K resolution. Its rear camera setup includes a 200-megapixel main camera but lacks a telephoto camera. Reports have revealed that the Meizu 21 Pro will have a bigger AMOLED panel that supports a 2K resolution. Its rear camera setup is expected to feature a telephoto or a periscope telephoto lens.
Like the standard model, the Pro variant will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. It is likely that the device may debut by late February or in March of this year in China.
