Motorola Edge 40 Neo, 360 degree video revealing design and colour options leaked ahead of launch
Motorola is gearing up to add a new member to the Motorola Edge 40 series which already has the Motorola Edge 40 and Motorola Edge 40 Pro. Both of the smartphones were launched this year in May and April respectively.
Its new member Motorola Edge 40 Neo was recently spotted on Geekbench confirming that it will be powered by the Dimensity 1050 chipset. It has also been spotted on Amazon revealing some of the key specs though its design remained unknown up until then.

According to the video, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo will come with a dual camera setup on the rear side arranged on a rectangular island with an LED flash. The text beside the rear camera reads 50 MP confirming that this smartphone will come with a 50 MP primary camera.
The front side of the handset shows that it will come with a punch-hole cutout in the display that houses the front camera. The right side of the phone will have a power button with volume buttons. The bottom side shows a speaker grille, microphone, a USB Type C port, and a SIM card slot that is usually seen on one side of the phone.
As per the video, this phone will make its debut in the market in three colour options Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea.
Specifications
When this smartphone was spotted on Amazon, it showed that it will come with a 6.55″ pOLED FHD+ display that sports a 144 Hz refresh rate. As far as memory and storage is concerned the page revealed that it will come with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. It also revealed that it will be backed by a 5,000 mAh battery and will be IP68 rated.
Now coming on to the camera, the video revealed that it will come with a 50 MP primary camera on the rear side that can be accompanied by a 13 MP secondary camera. For selfies, it can come with a 32 MP selfie camera. It has already been confirmed to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1050 chipset and will run Android 13 out of the box.
Price and availability
As of now, the company has clearly not made any announcement regarding the launch of this phone but the report says that it can be launched on September 15 and could be priced at around €399.
