Motorola Edge 40 Neo Smartphone Receives the FCC Certification Ahead of its Expected Launch Date
Motorola’s upcoming smartphone device, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, has appeared on the FCC certification platform. The smartphone is likely to be launched this month and will be arriving as the third smartphone in the Edge 40 series.

The upcoming Edge 40 Neo smartphone from Motorola has been certified by the FCC certification authority with the FCC ID – IHDT56AM7 and has made its way to the database with the model number – XT2307-1. The listing also mentions some of its specifications as well.
As per what has been revealed on its FCC listing, the smartphone is a 5G device supporting Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and NFC. The model numbers of the battery(QM50) and its charging adapter(MC-680N, MC-681N, MC-682N, MC-683N, MC-685N, MC-686N, MC-687N & MC-689N) points that it will come equipped with a 5000 mAh battery and will support a 68W fast charge feature.

The previous reports concerning the smartphone have already revealed a lot about the device and its specs, and based on its listing on Amazon’s Italian website, the device is revealed to have its launch on the 15th of September, this month. Just to add, the device was also spotted on the Geekbench database and has received the TDRA certification from the UAE.

The smartphone is confirmed to come equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 1050 chipset and will run on the Android 13-based operating system. It will be offering a storage variant with a RAM of 12GB and 256GB of internal storage.
About its display, the device is revealed to feature a pOLED display panel with a screen size of 6.55″ and an FHD+ screen resolution. It also supports a 144Hz refresh rate as well.
At its rear, the smartphone is said to have a dual camera setup with a 50MP OIS main camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera. A front-facing camera of 32MP is also expected.
Regarding its battery, the device is expected to pack a 5000 mAh battery and is now confirmed to support a 68W fast charge feature.
