Motorola Edge 50 Fusion Smartphone Revealed to be in Works: Codename and Possible Specs Tipped

Very recently, Motorola had unveiled two new G-series devices (Moto G 5G 2024 and Moto G Power 2024) in the United States and following which, a launch event for the expected Edge 50 Pro smartphone was also announced in India. The tagline “Witness the Fusion of Art and Intelligence” led to the confusion regarding the Edge 50 Fusion device, but it was eliminated later as the previous Edge 40 series didn’t have a “Fusion” model.

Well, reports might have been wrong as a tipster on the Twitter/X platform has come forward to reveal that there is indeed an Edge 50 Fusion device in works and which might be coming soon. The tipster has also shared its model number and few key specs.

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion – Codename and Key Specs

As per what has been shared, the upcoming Motorola Edge 50 Fusion smartphone is said to be codenamed – “Cusco”, and this device will likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with 256GB of internal storage. It maybe featuring a P-OLED display with a screen size of 6.7″ as well. A 50MP main camera and a 32MP selfie camera might also be part of the device.

Regarding the battery, users can expect a 5000 mAh decent battery backup, and possibly a 68W wired fast charging feature too. This device may also have Gorilla Glass 5 and IP68-rated protection, and would probably be made available in Peacock Pink, Ballad Blue (Vegan Leather), and Tidal Teal colors.

In related news, Motorola has also teased its Moto X50 Ultra AI smartphone for the Chinese market with an expected release in the month of April 2024, next month.
