Motorola Edge 50 Ultra coming soon to India, pops up on BIS certification

The smartphone brand Motorola unveiled the Motorola Edge 50 Series last month in the European market and the series included- the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, Edge 50, and Edge 50 Fusion smartphones. Among these smartphones, Motorola Edge 50 Pro smartphone has already made its debut in the Indian market, and seems like the Ultra version is also on its way.

This is because Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is spotted on the BIS certification website with model number XT2401-1.

The above listing does not reveal much about the smartphone but it confirmed that the device will be soon arriving in India. Previously a similar model number XT2401-2 was spotted on China’s 3C certification website and it was associated with the Moto X50 Ultra. As per reports, the Moto X50 Ultra is the repackaged version of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. It was recently revealed that Moto X50 Ultra will be making its debut in China this month only.

And now since Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has been spotted on BIS, the device is expected to be nearing its launch in the Indian region too.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra: Specifications (European variant)

Moto Edge 50 Ultra smartphone features a 6.67-inch wide pOLED display that comes with a 144Hz refresh rate, and 2500 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It runs Android 14-based Hello UI.

In the camera department, the smartphone has a 50MP primary rear sensor, with OIS support, a 50MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP telephoto shooter with up to 3x zoom. The front side of the smartphone sports a 50MP selfie camera.  It is backed by a 4500mAh battery that supports 125W wired and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone dimensions are 161.09mm x 72.38mm x 8.59mm in size and weighs 197g.
