Motorola India via its official Twitter/X handle has shared a teaser video for its next Edge-series smartphone that is debuting soon in the country. The teaser video also reveals some of its design aspects as well.

Motorola’s New Edge Smartphone for the Indian Market Teased
Recently, it was reported that Motorola is planning on conducting a launch event in India early next month on the 3rd of April 2024, and the leaked poster image pointed to the tagline “Witness the Fusion of Art and Intelligence”. Just a few days back, the leaked render images of the Edge 50 Pro device were also shared online and it is being speculated that this smartphone may be what the brand has under wraps for its Indian customers at the launch event.
Now, this exciting news has been shared via the brand’s Indian Twitter/X handle, however not everything about the launch event nor the smartphone is let out and the brand still remains tight-lipped. From the little information available, we are able to understand that the upcoming smartphone is indeed an Edge-series device that will have a curved-edged display, rounded side panels, and a leather textured rear panel. A Dark Blue color variant can also be expected.
The brand has also used the same tagline and has stated that the device will let its users choose both intelligence as well as art at the same time, possibly suggesting AI capabilities and an attractive design language. An exact launch date hasn’t been mentioned, but just the wording “Coming Soon”.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro smartphone has already been certified by the BIS certification authority of India, and it has also received the TDRA, FCC, and IMEI certifications. The Moto X50 Ultra device is said to be its repackaged version, while an Edge 50 Fusion is also in the works.
Regarding the Moto X50 Ultra, Motorola has teased the device as an AI smartphone and is expected to have specs like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 12GB RAM, 6.7″ display screen, and 165Hz refresh rate. Its expected launch might take place around the 21st of April 2024.
