A recent leak claimed that the Moto G84 5G would debut soon in India. Today, Motorola released an official confirmation that the G84 will be announced on Sept. 1 in India. Hence, India will be the first market to receive the G84, which appears to be the successor to the Moto G82 5G from last year. The landing page for the phone is now live on Flipkart. As usual, the listing has revealed the key specifications and design of the smartphone.
Moto G84 5G key specifications
The official images show that the Moto G84 5G will come in three colours, such as Midnight Blue, Marshmallow Blue, and Viva Magenta. The latter, which features a vegan leather back, sports the Pantone Colour of the Year 2023.
Coming to the display, the Moto G84 5G has a 6.5-inch P-OLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a DCI-P3 colour gamut, 10-bit colours, and a peak brightness of 1300 nits.
The Snapdragon 695 chip is present under the hood of the Moto G84 5G. The inclusion of the chip will bring support for 14 5G bands to the device. The device is equipped with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The rear panel of the device has an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, which also doubles up as a macro snapper.
The G84 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. It will come with other features, such as dual speakers, Android 13 that offers a near-stock experience, ThinkShield for Mobile, and dual speakers.
