Motorola shares the launch date of an Edge Family smartphone for the Global Market

Motorola an American smartphone manufacturer, has a new gift for the Global audience. The company took to X Platform and announed that it will be unveling a new smartphone on 16th of April 2024. Now it’s not that hard to make out that is from the Edge 50 Series. The company has used the hashtags #hellomoto and #edgefamily.

So, this has certainly been a tough start right from day one, when the rumors began that Motorola would launch the X50 Ultra in global markets as the Edge 50 Pro. Motorola is scheduled to launch the X50 Ultra in the Chinese market with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SOC. It was expected to power the Edge 50 Pro, but this time Motorola shocked everyone by launching it with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SOC. Then came the news that Motorola would have two new variants of the Edge 50 Series, Ultra and Fusion. As per current rumours, there are three smartphone in this Edge 50 Series.

Since it’s too early for me to make any assumptions, I would rather stick with the Edge 50 Pro, which was recently launched in India. Just last week, a leak came out disclosing the pricing and other details of the Edge 50 Pro for the EU market. Regarding the price, earlier leaks have hinted that it will cost around EUR 699 for the 12GB+256GB variant. It is also expected that Motorola will launch this smartphone with similar specs as the Indian variant. Additionally, it might come in a single variation, that is 12GB+256GB, and the cheaper 8GB RAM variant may be ditched.

So far this much is available, and it is more likely Motorla may reval more details about thsi upcoming smartphone soon.
