Motorola Will Launch Repackaged Version Of Edge 50 Ultra, The Moto X50 Ultra In May In China

Motorola recently launched the Edge 50 series smartphones in the European market. This series came with the Moto Edge 50 Ultra, Pro, and Fusion versions. Its Pro version has already made its debut in India while Fusion and Ultra version remains unannounced. The company has announced its recent plan to launch a new handset in China. This smartphone will be Moto X50 Ultra which is a repackaged version of the recently launched Moto Edge 50 Ultra. The smartphone is already confirmed to launch with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor which will make it the company’s first smartphone in China to be powered by it.

The Moto Edge 50 Ultra smartphone features a 6.67-inch wide pOLED display that comes with a 144Hz refresh rate, and 2500 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It runs Android 14-based Hello UI.

In the camera department, the smartphone has a 50MP primary rear sensor, with OIS support, a 50MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP telephoto shooter with up to 3x zoom. The front side of the smartphone sports a 50MP selfie camera.  It is backed by a 4500mAh battery that supports 125W wired and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone dimensions are 161.09mm x 72.38mm x 8.59mm in size and weighs 197g.
