New Discovery Suggests POCO C61 May Be a Rebranded Redmi A3 Smartphone
A discovery on Bluetooth SIG certification highlights that there might be a new POCO smartphone making its way soon. This smartphone has been spotted along with the already-launched Redmi A3 on Bluetooth SIG certification today.
Earlier, we had spotted a smartphone with model number “2312BPC51H” on the BIS certification but the moniker wasn’t known. At that time it was assumed that it might be repackaged Redmi A3 due to its similarity with its model number. And now thanks to the Bluetooth SIG certification, the moniker has been revealed. The certification further reveals that it will have Bluetooth version 5.4, the same as the Redmi A3.
Apart from this, not much has been revealed by this certification. But since it has made it to the Bluetooth SIG certification, we may see some sort of announcement from POCO in the coming days.
Expected specs of POCO C61 AKA Redmi A3
If we consider it as a repackaged version of the Redmi A3, then we can anticipate what features it may carry. The Redmi A3 was launched as an entry-level smartphone with a MediaTek Helio G36 processor. The phone offers a 6.71-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz and a peak brightness of 500 nits.
The Redmi A3 features an 8 MP AI dual-camera setup, which also includes Google Lens, Portrait mode, and classic film filters. On the front, the phone has a 5 MP front camera.
It is powered by a typical 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.
