Nokia in collaboration with iFixit introduces Nokia G22 – the first Nokia smartphone with repairability at it’s core

Well, Nokia has now come up with a much-awaited solution to this problem.HMD Global has released a mid-range and budget-friendly smartphone – Nokia G22. As claimed by the company this smartphone has been purposely designed with repairability at its core.
Nokia has partnered with iFixit, a global repair community to make repairing easy. Starting with Nokia G22, the company will now be designing and building smartphones that are easier to repair. The company will be providing a step-by-step repair guide and also they would be showcasing a live demo at the Mobile World Congress 2023 event on how to repair the Nokia G22 smartphone.

For Nokia G22 you will be able to access guides on Nokia’s official website and purchase FixKits that contain the tools and parts you need to replace flat batteries, broken screens, bent charging ports, and scratched covers.
The new G series smartphone also comes with a 100% recycled plastic back, an extended three-year warranty with no additional cost, two years of Android updates, and OZO Playback for enhanced bass and clearer sound.
Nokia G22 has launched in two color variations – Meteor Grey and Lagoon Blue with two memory and storage options: 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB. The global average recommended retail price for this device is 179 Euros ( approximately Rs. 15,307.21)
Nokia G22 will be first the smartphone you can repair yourself. If you need to replace parts or repair your Nokia G22 you can purchase an at-home Fix Kit. Replacement parts will be available from iFixit.com at a global average price of 49.95 Euros for the screen.
