Nothing Phone (2) Completes First Step Testing of India’s BIS Certification: Approval Still Remains

The second product from Nothing, the Nothing Phone (1) was a huge sensation offering great features and a unique glyph interface. Now the London-based company is planning on releasing its next smartphone which has now appeared on the BIS certification website.

The Nothing Phone (2) with a model number AIN065 has completed its first step testing of India’s BIS certification, however, from what is now known, the approval of the smartphone is still pending.

Previously an update revealed that the US launch of the smartphone has been confirmed and following this, the smartphone’s appearance on India’s BIS certification website has confirmed its launch in the Indian market as well. The launch of the smartphone can be expected in Q3 of 2023.

Here are some of the expected specifications of the smartphone

The upcoming Nothing Phone (2) is expected to come equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset with a primary clock speed of 3.2GHz and is likely to have the Adreno 730 GPU.

The device might also feature an OLED display which is likely to have a screen size of 6.67 inches and a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Probably the device will also have a refresh rate of 120Hz as well.

Now on the rear, the smartphone can be expected to have a rear camera setup with three 50MP cameras along with a front-facing camera of 32MP.

The smartphone might also come equipped with a 4700 mAh battery and is likely to support a fast charge feature of upto 66W.
