Nothing Phone (2) receives NBTC certification before July 11 launch
Nothing Phone (2) is all set to launch on July 11 in India and other markets. The handset has already been spotted at a couple of certification platforms, such as India’s BIS authority, South Korea’s NRRA certification, and the UAE’s TDRA authority. The device has now received approval from Thailand’s NBTC certification platform, which is good proof that it will be released in Thailand.
The Nothing Phone (2) has appeared with model number A065 in NBTC’s database. The handset has appeared with the same model number on other certification platforms. The NBTC listing has not revealed anything significant about the Phone (2).
Nothing Phone (2) specifications
So far, reports have revealed that the Nothing Phone (2) will arrive with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, which reportedly supports a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For security, it will have an under-display fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the Phone (2) will feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and a 4,700mAh battery. The device will run on the Nothing OS 2.0-based Android 13 OS. Nothing has confirmed that the device will receive four Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
At present, there is no information available on the camera capabilities of the Phone (2). Like the predecessor model, Phone (2) will be sold via Flipkart once it is announced. It is likely that it will arrive with a sub-Rs 40,000 price tag.
