Nubia Z50S Pro spotted at 3C certification, likely to launch in August
Nubia is said to be working on a new flagship phone for the Chinese market. The company announced the Nubia Z50 in December 2022 in China. In the first half of this year, the brand released the Nubia Z50 Ultra in the home market. Both phones came equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The upcoming Nubia flagship is said to arrive in the Chinese market with the Nubia Z50S Pro moniker. Ahead of the expected launch, the device has received approval from the 3C authority in China.
Nubia Z50S Pro 3C certified
As can be seen in the screengrab, a new Nubia phone with model number NX713J has appeared in the database of China’s 3C regulatory body. The listing reveals that the device may come equipped with an 80W fast charger. In all likelihood, the NX713J Nubia phone may debut in August with the Nubia Z50S Pro name.
Rumours are rife that the device will be powered by the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which works at 3.36GHz. It is the same chipset that powers Nubia’s Red Magic 8S Pro gaming smartphone.
It is speculated that the device will be equipped with a new primary camera. To recall, the Z50 and Z50 Ultra feature the Sony IMX787 64-megapixel main camera with a 35mm lens. In addition, the device is likely to pack a 5,000mAh battery.
