Nubia’s Red Magic 9 Series Launched Along with Other New Gaming Devices: Pre-Sales Now Live

The Chinese consumer electronics maker, Nubia, has finally unveiled its Red Magic 9 series devices in its home market in China. Two smartphones have been launched in the series. There are a few other gaming devices too launched along with the latest smartphones. All are now available for pre-sale.

Red Magic 9 Pro and Red Magic 9 Pro+

The Red Magic 9 series smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset from Qualcomm, and features a 6.8″ display screen. The two devices also sport dual rear camera units with a 50MP OIS main camera a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 16MP front-facing camera(under-display, algorithm 4.0).

Regarding the battery, the Red Magic 9 Pro smartphone is backed by a 6500 mAh battery supporting an 80W wired fast charging feature, while the Red Magic 9 Pro+ device has a smaller 5500 mAh battery, but with a faster 165W wired fast charge support.

Other notable features of the smartphones are the ICE 13.0 Magic Cooling System, 7th gen ultra-thin under-display fingerprint scanner with heart rate detection, and the independent IC touch shoulder keys with 520Hz touch sampling rate.

Price and Availability

Both smartphones have three color choices – Dark Knight, Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night, & Deuterium Front Transparent Silver Wings.

The Dark Knight model of the Red Magic 9 Pro smartphone comes in 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, & 12GB/512GB storage options, and are priced at ¥4399, ¥4799, & ¥5199. The Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night & Deuterium Front Transparent Silver Wings models come in 12GB/256GB & 12GB/512GB storage options and are priced at ¥4999 & ¥5399.

The Red Magic 9 Pro+ smartphone has 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, & 24GB/1TB storage options for the Dark Knight model, with price points of ¥5499, ¥5799, & ¥6999 respectively. The Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night only has the 16GB/256GB & 16GB/512GB storage options, bearing the price tags of ¥5699 & ¥5999. The Deuterium Front Transparent Silver Wings model is only available in 16GB/512GB storage option and is priced at ¥5999.

The two newly unveiled smartphones are listed on JD.com and its pre-sales are live on all platforms. The official sale will begin at 10 AM on the 28th of November, five days later. Exciting offers like 24 months interest-free EMI, ¥999 worth of game gift package, and an upgrade to Xinyue membership V1 level, can be enjoyed as well during the sale.

Other New Gaming Devices

Along with the Red Magic 9 series smartphones, the brand has launched a few other gaming devices too. This includes the Red Magic Shadow Blade 2 game controller, the world’s first 5088 partition MiniLED e-sports monitor, and the Red Magic Realm 49″ QD-OLED e-sports monitor. The Red Magic Shadow Blade 2 game controller and the 5088 partition MiniLED e-sports monitor have their pre-sales live now.

The Red Magic Shadow Blade 2 game controller is priced at ¥599, and on the 28th of November 2023, it will be on sale. When bought with the Red Magic 9 Pro smartphone, customers will also be able to get it for ¥499.

The Red Magic 5088 partition MiniLED e-sports monitor has an actual price of ¥5999, and on the 4th of December 2023, the day of its official sale, it will be available for an early adopter price of ¥5499.

The Red Magic Realm 49″ QD-OLED e-sports monitor has a list price of ¥9499 and an early adopter price of ¥8999. It will be put on sale next month in December 2023.
