Official Announcement of HTC U23 Pro Will Be On May 18, Mark Your Calenders
After a whole array of teasers and rumors, HTC has finally confirmed the launch of the HTC U23 Pro with VIVERSE platform support is going to happen on May 18th.
HTC’s VIVERSE is a cross-platform metaverse where you can create and explore. VIVERSE connects individuals and communities together in the metaverse, enabling the creation and exploration of virtual worlds from any device.
The name of the upcoming smartphone is not officially out yet but it is expected to be called the HTC U23 Pro. This upcoming smartphone is the successor to the HTC U20 5G.
The teaser that HTC officially put out, does not reveal many details about the HTC U23 Pro. After watching closer, the center-aligned punch-hole camera can be pointed out. This feature did come in some of the earlier leaks.
Expected Specs
The upcoming U23 Pro has already appeared on Geekbench. The Geekbench listing reveals the processor of this smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and runs on Android 13. 8GB and 12GB are still in doubt in the case of RAM.
One of the most recent leaks revealed that the main rear camera module might have a quad camera setup while the main camera sensor might be 108MP with OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer). The other three cameras should include an ultra-wide, a depth, and a macro camera similar to the normal quad-camera setups.
A side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security, a 120 Hz AMOLED display, a plastic back and middle frame, and a 4500mAh battery that supports wireless charging, etc. are the other features the HTC U23 Pro might have, according to the leaks.
