OnePlus 12 BOE Display Confirmed: BOE to Launch New Display Screen this Month

Reports pointing out that the upcoming OnePlus 12 smartphone will be launched with a custom-made BOE screen had arrived in the recent past days and now, it is official that BOE partnering with the Chinese smartphone makers – OPPO and OnePlus, will be launching a new display screen in the Chinese market this month.

The upcoming OnePlus 12 smartphone, that is likely to have its debut next month, is also thus confirmed to arrive with the BOE display, as suggested earlier.

China’s BOE Releasing a New Display Screen

At the launch event scheduled to take place in Chongqing, China, BOE(Beijing Oriental Electronics) joining hands with OPPO and OnePlus will unveil its new display screen, on the 24th October 2023, four days later. The brand has mentioned that the launch will mark a historic moment for Chinese screens, advancing from the 30 years of lagging behind and trying to catch up.

Along with this, one more thing has been pointed out. OnePlus’ 12 smartphone that was said to feature a custom-made BOE display, better than Samsung’s AMOLED screen, is now confirmed to have it.

Apart from these information, nothing about the display screen that BOE is going to introduce have been revealed. However, the Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station(received via FoneArena) has shared that the company will be releasing a 2K display screen for the upcoming OnePlus 12 smartphone at the event. This display screen is also going to offer up to 3000 nits peak brightness.

To add, it has also been stated by Digital Chat Station that BOE also plans to bring out a 1.5K display screen with more than 3000 nits peak brightness rate.

We are just a few days away from the launch, and with which, we’ll be able to confirm more. Just to add, the OnePlus 12 smartphone that is said to feature the soon-to-be-released BOE screen, as of now, is expected to launch as early as in November 2023 in the Chinese market, and in January 2024 globally.
