OnePlus 12 officially confirmed to be equipped with SD 8 Gen 3 and world’s top 2K oriental screen for the first time

 

OnePlus 12- the device we have been hearing about a lot and is expected to make its official debut soon. Although the launch date was not yet confirmed yesterday the Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus officially confirmed that its highly anticipated flagship smartphone OnePlus 12 will be arriving with a 2KBOE X1 OLED LTPO display.

Other than this the company has also revealed that this upcoming smartphone will be arriving with a new display panel for the first time by BOE called “Oriental screen”.

The smartphone will be arriving with an OLED display that offers 2K resolution and is equipped with next-gen LTPO technology. It will be offering more than 2600 nits peak brightness and will utilize less power consumption. The display will be arriving with more than 2x longer lifespan. It is said to emit low blue light and will feature industry-leading self-developed eye protection technology with high-frequency PWM dimming.

As claimed by the company, the OnePlus 12 will be arriving with the world’s first screen using new luminescent materials. Its display is the first that arrives with China’s Display Mate A+ rating. The display will be offering 69.5% low grayscale brightness uniformity and 93.7% normal brightness uniformity.

It has recently been confirmed that the OnePlus 12 will feature the SD 8 Gen 3 processor, making it the first batch of OnePlus phones to have this processor.

Looking at these technical details of the OnePlus 12 display it could be said that this display panel is very advanced and hi-tech compared to the other display panels. Boosting the display capabilities of the OnePlus 12, the company’s China president has replied to Xiaomi 14’s 3000 nits brightness.

 

Seeing the president’s reply it is now assumed that the OnePlus 12 might go far beyond what Xiaomi 14 is said to offer.
