OnePlus 13 could be the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 phone, Ace 3V tipped as the first Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 device
OnePlus is poised to introduce several Ace-branded models in China in the upcoming months. Towards the year’s end, the brand may unveil its flagship phone, the OnePlus 13. It seems that OnePlus is positioning itself to offer new Snapdragon chipsets, notably on the Ace 3V and OP13, before any other competitor.
Reports have claimed that OnePlus may unveil the OnePlus Ace 3V this month in China. Several reports have claimed that the device will feature a new Qualcomm chip, which bears the SM7675 model number. As per reports, this chip is likely to have the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 as its final moniker.
According to tipster Wisdom Pikachu, the Ace 3V will be the first smartphone to feature the new chip. He reiterated that the device would feature an OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging support.
He added that the OnePlus 13 is progressing very quickly and is likely to be the first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. To recall, the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro debuted in October 2023 as the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phones. The OnePlus 12, equipped with the same chip, debuted in December 2023.
Reports have claimed that the Xiaomi 15 series will debut in October this year in China. Now that the OnePlus 13 is said to be competing to debut as the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 phone, it appears that it may debut in October. The entire Xiaomi 15 series is said to feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. The tipster claimed that the OP13 will also feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. A recent leak claimed that the device will sport a new rear design.
