OnePlus launched the OnePlus Ace 2 in February this year in China. Recent reports have claimed that the company is now working on the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro for the Chinese market. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station revealed the launch timeframe of the device.
According to the tipster, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be launched in July or August this year. It appears that one of its major rivals will be the Redmi K60 Ultra, which is also expected to launch in August.
Reports have claimed that the K60 Ultra will come equipped with the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset. On the other hand, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro could be the company’s second smartphone after the OnePlus 11 5G to arrive with the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro rumors have revealed that it will feature a BOE-supplied OLED panel with curved edges and narrow bezels. It will offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 100W charging.
The device will also feature 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. For photography, it will have an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera.
The OnePlus Ace Pro, which went official in China, was rebranded as the OnePlus 10T in India. Hence, it is likely that the Ace 2 Pro could be rechristened as the OnePlus 11T in India.
