OnePlus Ace 2 Pro tipped to arrive 24GB of RAM, 1TB of storage

Qualcomm is expected to soon unveil the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 (tentative name) chipset as an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The Red Magic 8S Pro, iQOO 11S, and OnePlus Ace 2 Pro are said to be the first phones to come equipped with it. A new leak suggests that the Ace 2 Pro may end up offering better performance than the Nubia and IQOO phones since it may arrive with the highest amount of RAM seen on a smartphone.

According to a recent Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will feature an impressive 24 GB of RAM and a whopping 1 TB of storage. While the exact details about whether the 24 GB RAM includes any virtual memory are not explicitly mentioned, it seems that the tipster is specifically referring to the device’s physical RAM capacity.

The absence of any mention of virtual RAM suggests that the reported specifications pertain solely to the physical RAM configuration of the device. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2, which reportedly works at 3.36GHz.

A recent report revealed that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will have the same 6.74-inch curve-edge OLED panel that is available on the OPPO Reno 10 Pro+. Hence, it is expected to support a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to feature a Sony IMX890 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support. It may pack a 5,000mAh battery. There is a possibility that it may come in 100W and 150W charging options.
