OnePlus Ace 2 tipped to offer 18GB LPDDR5x RAM, 512GB storage
According to popular tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus Ace 2 powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Plus 1 will have LPDDR5x RAM. To those who don’t know, LPDDR5x RAM is an enhanced version of LPDDR5 RAM. He added that even though the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 does not support LPDDR5x, the Ace 2 will come equipped with it.
There have been rumours about the Ace 2 that its highest configuration variant will have 16 GB of RAM. However, the tipster has claimed that it will offer 18 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
512GB is the highest storage capacity seen on OnePlus smartphones so far. The tipster revealed that the upcoming OnePlus smartphones and tablets will have 1 TB of storage and 16 GB of RAM.
Meanwhile, OnePlus has been confirming the key features of the OnePlus Ace 2. It will arrive with a 6.74-inch OLED FHD+ curved-edge display that offers 2772 x 1240 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,450 nits, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It will come equipped with a heat dissipation system with 6355mm2 of surface area. To keep the lights on, the device may feature a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging support.
The OnePlus Ace 2 is scheduled to debut on Feb. 7 in China. The company will also announce the Buds Ace TWS earbuds alongside it.
